Vineyards located in Cenicero (heart of Rioja Alta). The care of these vineyards is a highly-integrated ecological agricultural process. Predominantly calcareous clayey soil in boulder lands. The production of these vineyards is inferior to 1 kilo per strain (2800 kilos per hectare or 20 hl per hectare)
This wine has been kept in brand new French oak barrels of 225 litres for 12 months and in French oak barrels of 500 litres for another 12 months.
Color: Intense cherry clean, high layer and violet rim, clean and brilliant, dense and abundant tear.
Nose: Very intense, black fruits, floral, violet, geraniums, mineral, pencil lead, chocolate and coffee, elegant and powerful.
Mouth: Embracing, lasting, good length on fruity tastes, silky, large structure and outstanding acidity.
Alcohol (%vol): 14%
Residual Sugars (g/L): 1,1 g/L
Total Acidity (g/L): 5,2 g/L
